BRUSH both sides of each matzo evenly with liqueur; set aside.
MELT chocolate and margarine in medium saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool 10 min. Gently stir in 2-1/2 cups of the whipped topping.
SPREAD 1/4 of the chocolate mixture on one of the matzos. Cover with second matzo, with corners pointing in a different direction. Repeat layers, using remaining matzos and remaining chocolate mixture. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Store in refrigerator.
